For trouble free processing of your files, please follow the instructions bellow

Correct folder and file naming, and other specifications are very important to assist us with the processing of your order.

Please follow these instructions carefully.

  • The best results are achieved by working your images in sRGB, as this is the colour space that best matches our printers output gamut.
  • Save your images as JPG files.  Use only the valid file extention of ".jpg"
  • Images should be sent to us at 300 ppi at the image dimensions you wish to print.
  • Cropping to a chosen size and resolution can be easily done with the Photoshop crop tool.
  • Please use no more than eight characters in the folder and file names and use only alpha numeric characters.
  • Always allow for at least 5mm bleed when designing images which have detail within 5mm of the edge.  This usually includes contact sheets, proof pages, borders and text.
  • Files of non standard sizes which are not listed on our price list will be charged at the next standard size up.  If using our uploading systems you may need to take the image into Photoshop and increase the "canvas size" to a standard size offered online.

When submitting files by disc/USB/ftp/dropbox, please place your images in folders named to reflect your required print size (in inches) and paper type (only if other than lustre) as shown in the diagram below.  If you require multiple prints of the same image, name the folder with size and quantity.
